I work a lot.
I am the Creative Director for Mission Increase – a Christian-based nonprofit that helps ministries grow by offering teaching, coaching, and consulting rooted in a biblical approach to fundraising. I am also a freelance designer with a focus of brand consistency, video and audio production, and print layout. You can view my work at Provurbs Creative.

I’ve written a few things.
I am the author of two books: Why Pastors Quit and Chester Firebreather (a children’s book about an unlikely superhero). I’m in the process of completing a new book, Shadows of the Stained Glass, as well as working on a new children’s story called Slinky McGee and the Little Red Button.

I’ve started a few things.
In 2012, I founded ExPastors.com as a resource that offered help, healing, and hope for expastors, pastors, and church leaders. In 2017, it became a part of the Full Strength Network, a ministry with the mission of strengthening pastors and their families. At that time, ExPastors.com had been visited nearly 1,000,000 times and articles were featured on countless sites including The Huffington Post, Relevant Magazine, and Christianity Today. I founded Rethink Monthly – a local magazine we printed from 2008-2010 that presented real and authentic thoughts, news, and opinions about spirituality, life and culture to our local community.

I stay active.
I am actively involved in my community, having previously served as Secretary, Vice President, and President of the Board of Directors for McNary Youth Baseball from 2015-2020. In 2021, my son and I started a sandlot baseball group called the Bat Boys. I’ve coached several youth baseball teams, focusing on personal growth and development of youth athletes. I am most proud of having created an annual high school scholarship called The Chris Holt Scholarship through McNary Youth Baseball.

I’m easy to find.
Most days you can find me watching a Trail Blazers game, recording a podcast with my son, cheering loudly for my daughter’s basketball team, or sitting on the couch watching a movie with my wife.
